The Melino Foundation exists to help those experiencing trauma find Christ-centered peace through recovery and support communities, equipping them into healthier lives.
Meeting Basic Needs
When we see the needs of others, hear our Lord’s call to act, and bring what we have to Him - He multiples what we have and helps us meet the needs of people. There are so many needs. Stepping out to find a way to be involved is a great first step. Jesus will lead you in the rest.
But Jesus said, “You feed them.” “With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!” “How much bread do you have?” he asked. “Go and find out.”

Fostering Support Communities
Recovery and healing happens within the context of a larger community. Our gospel practice extends beyond meeting basic need. We foster community to continue to encourage one another on our journeys. From conversations during meals, to walking together through the dark moments of struggle, to celebrating life events and achievements - it all adds in building new strength to continue to move forward. Do you like connecting with people, learning their stories, and letting them know yours? Are you willing to share some of your life to encourage them to keep moving forward?
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Personal Growth & Training
What we believe of ourselves and the contributions we have to offer to those around us, greatly effects our desire and ability to move forward. Equipping people with personal and professional life skills and self leadership secures momentum in each courageous step and strengthen the foundation of peace. We are looking for community partners to join with us to offer access to a variety of services and resources.

Christ-Centered Peace
Our desire is to not only bring paths for healing and restoration in the outer-life, but also the inner-life. If the entire outer life is restored yet the soul remains in poverty, what eternal good have we given. Providing space for people to encounter God and now they are loved by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is core to a life of “melino”. If you want to join a team where you are encouraged to grow in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ as you live out the tangible gospel, Melino may be a great fit! Let’s grow together as we work to bring restoration and the Lord’s peace into other people’s lives.
